HOME / PROJECTS / territories + large landscapes / New Champlain bridge
Landscape component of a pre-construction study for the new Champlain Bridge project, connecting to the city’s roadway network. The study focuses on the physical, ecological, and visual impacts generated by the new infrastructure project. It also includes the preliminary development of planning and design criteria to optimize urban and environmental integration. The landscape study firstly defines a greening concept based on a detailed landscape inventory to replace lost areas of biomass. Secondly, it deals with the development of diversified viaduct design criteria, based on the unique character of each street that will cross the highway infrastructure.
