Winner (1st prize ex aequo) of the International design competition to regenerate, restore and renew the park, following hurricane Juan devastation (2003). The comprehensive plan proposes to design and management guidelines for the 75 acres park over the next 20 years. Forest experiences, site history, hurricane commemoration, and resilience are the basis of developed concepts. 2009 Canadian Society of Landscape Architects National Honour Award.
