HOME / PROJECTS / institutions + campus / HÔPITAL MAISONNEUVE-ROSEMONT PAVILLON DE DIALYSE
Garden design for the new dialysis pavilion courtyard, creating a contemplative forest parcel and providing pedestrian connections through lush vegetation. The landscape concept is inspired by the nearby urban woodland known as ‘Boisé des Pères’, one of the very few forest environments in Montreal having resisted urbanization. The dense garden consists of a rich diversity of vegetation species that can be found nearby. The project also connects to an adjacent green corridor, improving the area’s overall biomass. Patients, hospital staff and visitors may contemplate the garden from the perimeter or stroll through it diagonally. The garden hosts the sculpture titled ‘Rosée’ by Linda Covit.
