DESCRIPTION

Project carried out for the 2010 Quebec Games, meeting LEED-NC silver criteria. the project proposes a large-scale earthwork from the ground displaced during the site preparation, thus minimizing the exportations of material. Site development includes an events plaza and various ecological features within an urban park.  A public art work composed of five triangular Corten steel sculptures entitled À même le site: inspiration, expiration. Le dépassement by Francine Larivée is part of a dialogue with the built landscape and its unique morphology.
