This narrative garden is an attempt to actualize the traditional and poetic visions of the forest concept. The garden seeks to unite the magical forest-based legends and the complex realities of contemporary forest components. Fundamentally, the forest fulfills three roles: cultural reference, industrial resource, and leisure space. 2002 Canadian Society of Landscape Architects National Merit Award. 2002 Montreal Design Institute Landscape Architecture Award.
