DESCRIPTION
Landscape design for Browns Shoes head office buildings and warehouse. In Ville Saint-Laurent, the new building is carefully located in order to protect valuable trees in the existing forest. The project includes a parking lot, an entrance plaza, and a large courtyard, opening up to the protected landscape. The courtyard concept creates a gentle transition between the natural environment and the building for the pleasure of everyday use and special events. The rhythm is created by large concrete pavers and indigenous moss within a lush wildflower forest garden. White blooming perennials adorn a field of waving grass that changes colour throughout the season.
