PROJECT / CONCEPT
Design for the incorporation of parks and public spaces into the Bassins du Nouveau Havre urban development. Reclaiming the areas of former basins, the project preserves and reveals the vestiges of basin walls, while evoking the figure of a former landscape through a contemporary landscape. The concept integrates the programme into the vocabulary of maritime transport, of barges, of wharfs, of water, of loading, transfers and other port activities. Addressing local ecological objectives, the proposal orchestrates complex drainage constraints into a holistic, integrated development strategy.
