PROJECT / BUILT WORK
Landscape design for Browns Shoes head office buildings and warehouse. In Ville Saint-Laurent, the new building is carefully located in order to protect valuable trees in the existing forest. The project includes a parking lot, an entrance plaza and a large courtyard, opening up to the protected landscape. The courtyard concept creates a gentle transition between the natural environment and the building for the pleasure of every day use and special events. The rhythm is created by large concrete pavers and indigenous moss within a lush wildflower forest garden. White blooming perennials adorn a field of waving grass that changes colour throughout the season.
